End User License Agreement

Last updated: August 2026
The short version: try MarkMyShot free for 30 days. If you buy a license, it's yours for life — pay once, use it on your computer, move it to a new one whenever you like, and get all version 1 updates free. Don't share your key or resell the software. If it's not for you, you have 14 days to get your money back.

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Shimon Barav ("the Developer"), the author of the MarkMyShot software for Windows ("the Software"). By downloading, installing or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement.

1. Free trial

You may use the Software free of charge for 30 days from first launch, with all features enabled. After the trial ends, taking new screenshots requires a paid license; you keep full access to viewing, editing and copying the screenshots you already made.

2. License grant

Upon purchase of a license key, the Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, lifetime license to install and use the Software. A single license may be activated on a limited number of computers (as enforced by the activation system); it is intended for use by one person or on one computer at a time. You may deactivate the license on one computer and activate it on another — for example when replacing your PC.

3. Updates

Your license includes all updates to version 1 of the Software free of charge. If a major version 2 is ever released, it may require a separate purchase; existing customers will be offered an upgrade discount. The Developer is not obligated to provide updates or new features.

4. What you may not do

Screenshots and documents you create with the Software are yours, of course — including for commercial use.

5. Refunds

If MarkMyShot isn't for you, email support@markmyshot.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no forms, no questions. Refunds are processed by our payment provider back to the original payment method. After a refund, your license key is deactivated.

6. Privacy

The Software runs entirely on your computer and does not upload your screenshots or files anywhere. License activation contacts the licensing service only to validate your key. See the full Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software. In any event, total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and it does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

9. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach it (for example, by sharing your license key publicly). Upon termination, you must stop using the Software. Sections 7–10 survive termination.

10. General

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This is the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding the Software.
